The journey from home to the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Hertford was very easy, with one minor holdup north of the Dartford Tunnel due to a minor accident, and the weather  had been benign until the late afternoon when thunderclouds developed and we had short heavy downpours.

The site is large, with most of the places on grass, which is quite saturated, however we are on hard standing, so no problem.
