Arrived at the cliff top aire at Le Treport early afternoon, as we were given an earlier train from Cheriton.

With a very easy drive from Calais via the D940, we only encountered one delay when held up by a convoy of Agricultural vehicles. Although we did stop at the Deux Caps aire on the A16 for a cuppa and loo break.

After eating we took a trip on the funicular down to the town and then walked across the river to Mer les Bains. Cormorants were fishing in the turbulent water coming out of the dock and catching what looked like eels, but could have been some sort of fish. It was amazing how quickly the harbour emptied of water.

We shall probably have a glass or 2 of wine before bedding down tonight.
