A pleasant journey down the river Sure to the Mosel. we stopped in Trier for lunch and then went on to the aire at Mehring which is on the banks of the river Mosel. Many swans, geese and ducks took control of the path by the river, so had to take care with the dogs. With a restaurant on site we had a meal, and I have never had such a large steak, it must have been 2 inches thick.
