After visiting the hypermarket in Sangatte our final stop before boarding the ferry for home was the aire in Calais.

Because work is going on in the old campsite, the aire has been moved closer to the quayside, and throughout the evening locals arrive in their cars to view the massed motorhomes.

Two last indulgences, were yet another patisserie cake, and a mountain of frites!

We were searched on arrival at the port, and were able to take an earlier ferry than we had booked.

Fond farewells on the car deck and then home.
