A beautiful day, and arrived t the ferry terminal 2 hours early, so good old P&O put me on an earlier boat.

The sea was very calm, so no problems with Flash who was very pleased to see me when I got back to the van

We took the  A16 to Boulogne, and the the D940 to Le Crotoy. I t was a pleasant journey, despite heavy traffic in Boulogne. Part of the way we were following a German registered motorhome, which drove with his offside wheels on the centre line of the road.  A motorcyclist following him has trouble seeing past him so that he could overtake, and when he did evenually get past, he gave the driver a vulgar sign to show him discontent.

When we arrived at Le Crotoy, a van leaving gave us his ticket, so haven’t got to pay the 6 euros for the night.

It’s bright sunshine and very warm. I’m tempted already to put on shorts!

Peter Bond from the New Companions Club was already here, so shall have a natter this evening.
