We had a great time at the New Year meet at Blackmore. With walks to the Plough and Harrow at Guarlford, The Swan at Handley Swan, and the Three Kings at Handley Castle, we imbibed a quantity of alcohol.

Bus trips to Worcester and Tewksbury gave us the opportunity to vist Worcester Cathedral and Tewksbury Abbey, both magnificent buildings worthy of the visits.

Take away Chinese and Indian meals were arranged for those that wanted, and we had a banquet in the recreation room.

The New Year’s party was a hit with most people wearing fancy dress as witches, wizards and warlocks.

All in all, a meet where despite the incessant rain, every day gave rise to laughter.
