Our first attempt at stopping on an aire in north Brittany, led us to Saint Brieuc. A challenging drive down to the river side , but on arrival the aire had a 2m barrier preventing us from stopping. this picture is what we expected!

We then travelled on to Le Palus Plage. This is a pretty bay with high cliffs on either side. The aire had been decimated, from being able to hold 20 or so camping-cars, to just a few. the bourne had been removed, but it still made a pleasant stop.
