En route to the campsite at Breteuil sur Iton.  small campsite, close to the centre of town, with a small swimming pool, we stopped at Pegasus Bridge for Mary to visit the museum. Ruth and I took the opportunity to walk along the canal.

We spent 3 days here, as it was a pleasant site, and we felt we needed a rest. On the first day we walked into town there was a rally of old French cars, so we stopped and had a coffee in the square. On the second day, we walked around the local park, into town, had a coffee, and bought a delicious cake from the patisserie next door to the cafe.

The patisserie was so good, that on the third day after visiting the cafe again, we bought yet another one.
