Had some pleasant weather, so decided to walk alongside the river Ure to the first lock at Westwick, and then back via the road and footpaths.
Although the walk was pleasant enough, the infestation of Hogweed alongside the river footpath, and it’s invasion of farmland on the otherside of the footpath was a big surprise.
Stopped off at the Crown Inn in Roecliffe where the landlord has these 2 manikins siting outside the pub.
all in all a very relaxing stay.
