The journey from Boroughbridge to Sligsby took me on the A170 and up Sutton Bank, a 1 in 4 hill up onto the North Yorks Moors. I stopped at the top for the view, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t helping as you can see from this picture.
As usual with campsites, the phone and data signal for a networks was unavailable, but we walked a couple of miles along a disused railway track to Hovingham, where we had a delicious but expensive meal in the Worsley Arms, but were able to log onto the internet.
