From Slingsby moved on to the C&CC site at Scarborough for the Companions Spring Meet. The weather was not very encouraging, even hail on one day, but had an enjoyable time.

This was the first meet where I took on the role of chairman in earnest, and on the whole enjoyed it, hosting the 10 and 5 o’clock meets.

Castle building on 1 evening proved to be a great success.

Although some made a total success at failure

Exciting to watch the Tour of Yorkshire pass very swiftly!
