From La Mailleraye-sur-Seine we travelled on to Arramanche-les-Bains which is the location of the WW2 Mulberry Harbour. Only a small amount of the harbour remains, but it does give an idea of the size of the project.

On display on the cliffs overlooking the town were a Sherman tank, and a section of the roadway of the harbour.

On the second day here, we took a bike ride into Bayeaux. After buying the worst cup of coffee I have tasted in France, we looked round the cathedral which has some beautiful murals.
